| THE BIRD, located on West Ave. (take rt. 20 east till you see the big "ARBY'S" hat and take a left, just past the over-pass in a shopping plaza on the left.) on the west side of Ashtabula is a newly remodeled club that's pretty wide open allowing for plenty of dancing as well as a good veiw of the band. There was a $3.00 cover charge in the first part of the evening that I hope we can talk them into eliminating if we return. The night started a little slow, but we noticed flyers on the wall for a benefit at another establishment taking place on the same night. Business definitely picked up through the first set and the place filled up nicely. By the second and third sets the dance floor was hopping and everyone looked happy. Thanks to everyone who made our first trip to THE BIRD a great one. Although we don't have another job booked there as of yet, I have recieved word they would like us back.
