As a younger man, I spent many of my summers at Painesville Speedway. I sat in the stands as a spectator until I was old enough to drive and, looking back, that's where I got my first taste of real entertaining. You see most everyone involved in a competitive situation is motivated to win and be the best. I just liked being in front of a large group of screaming people that were cheering for something I'd just done. That's why I was thrilled to have had the oppurtunity to perform there with my band,
It was awesome to be back in front of te fine race fans I used to see at the end of a good Figure-Eight. Although I do appologize for some of the kinks we had to iron out through the night. Due to the time restrictions we had to really rush to get set up. As you can see from the pictues below, we set our equipment on the back of Tony Sheiber's slide back truck and he hauled us out on the track. So it was very difficult to get what we considered a good sound even though we had so many compliments at the end of the night. I was overjoyed to have been able to have my daughter, Megan as well as all of the other children in the crowd see us play. I work with kids a great deal and they really know how to have a good time. I hope our mix of country and rock satisfied all of you as we were advertised by the track as a strictly "country" band. Thanks to all of my friends at Painesville Speedway for your kind words.
