Well I'd like to say our debut at CABANAS was a success. And I'd also like to tell you I hit the super lotto. Unfortunately these would be lies. Every once in a while we get a job that just doesn't go over. CABANAS seems like a great place and I don't want to sound discouraged or unhappy. My wife and I have had dinner there a number of times and have nothing bad to say about our experiences there as patrons. As far as entertaining there goes I would just say I don't think "finding mary" is the right band for CABANAS. We started to a limited crowd inside as pretty much everyone was on the patio enjoying the end of a beautiful day. We then got the "turn it down" twice and as we continued on through, what we thought would be our first and only set. But as fate would have it, we did have about fifteen of the "finding mary" regulars (of which you can see in the pictures below) come in. At the conclusion of the first set I cut a deal with the manager on duty and squared my tab only to be requested to stay for one more set for those that made the trip. So in "finding mary" fasion we ended up playing almost as long as we were scheduled quiting at 12:15 A.M. I thank all of you that tried to help us out. Rex and Krissy, Tom and Laurie, Bob and George, Olivia, Aubrey, Jeff and a few others that I'm sure I'm leaving out as well as my beautiful wife Robyn who I have to say is looking sexy with her hair all high-lighted. It was a pleasure to entertain you as always. I appologize to CABANAS owner, Mike as I had hoped we could have a more successful outing for his club. Our next scheduled appearance at CABANAS is Friday, July 21st but may change as I allow club owners to cancell our future shows if they think it just isn't going to work. Thanks again everyone.
